Should I Still Exercise if I Feel Sick?

Ugh!  I feel terrible today!  I think something I ate yesterday disagreed with me, and I was in the bathroom for part of the night.  Not nice.

Today I felt tired and flat.

But I wondered if I should exercise regardless?  I wanted to do some Fit Yummy Mummy strength training today, but I really didn’t feel up to it.

So I listened to my body.  I obviously needed time to heal, so today was spent on the couch with my laptop, and I feel sooooo much better for it!  In fact, I’m looking forward to getting up in the morning to hop on my bike!

All I’ve got to do now is decide whether I am going to go for a ride, or stay on the wind trainer…. decisions!

If you’re not well, don’t try to force yourself to do what your body may not be ready for.  Listen to it and let it heal so that you can get back into your training as soon as possible!
