I know all too well how difficult it is to commit to losing weight, and this is mostly because I LOVE food! Not only that but I’m so darn lazy sometimes – I just don’t make the commitment to exercise!
So how do I stick to my plan so that I can finally lose that stubborn belly fat that won’t go away?
In two words, the answer is: Baby steps
You don’t HAVE to jump all in on day 1. If you do this, you’ll get quicker results, but if you’ve been the queen of bad habits for years, it’s not going to be easy to change, so why not take it one step at a time?
Here’s what I mean…
- Commit to eating ONE healthy meal per day. Once you have that perfected, increase it to two meals per day, then three, and so on.
- Commit to exercising once per week, then once you have that perfected, increase it to twice per week, then three times per week.
- Start with short workouts, of 5-10 minutes each, then build them up to 30 minutes each, three times per week.
Just making these small changes will go a long way towards helping you to achieve your weight loss goals. Give it a try!
