Day 16 of R3 – my progress

It has been a few days since my last post, but I do have some very good news! I did my weigh-in on Monday, and here are the results:

  • 1.2kg/2.6lbs lost
  • 9.75cm/3.75inches lost

I didn’t have a lot to lose, however I had some fat stores which bothered me somewhat, and they have begun to decrease. I am so so happy with this result! It actually becomes a little harder to lose the weight as you get closer to your weight loss goal, so it’s important to build the muscle to speed up the process and to give you the muscle definition that looks so fine!

What’s great about this program (and I am sure I’ve said this before) is that I feel far from deprived – I’m not hungry all the time, and in fact, I’m often feeling almost forced to eat when I don’t really want to – but this is important to keep my metabolism going.

The Access bars have also helped me a lot with my workouts – I feel stronger and I feel less muscle pain when I am working out, and this is absolutely paying off!

I am now in Phase 2 of the program, where I can introduce some fruits and carbs into the mix, so things are going to get a little more exciting for me!
