What is important about weight loss feedback?

What is important about weight loss feedback? Well… it will tell you whether what you’re doing is actually working, that’s for sure!

Weight loss feedback is what happens when you try a new thing. So you may try eating new foods, a new workout regime, or you may try modifying your calorie intake. If you stick to this new routine, you’re going to receive feedback.

Did you lose weight? Did you gain muscle? Do you have more energy? Are you sleeping better?

Testing and measuring

When it comes to weight loss, it’s not about doing one thing once and hoping to get a great result – it’s just not going to happen.

Instead, whatever you choose to do, you must stick to it as best as you can for at least two weeks, then measure your progress.

If you have not made any progress at all (or worse, you went the other way!), then it’s possible that maybe that thing that you tried needs to be modified. Or maybe it wasn’t for you?

Testing and measuring is really important for anyone wanting to progress toward a desired intention, because without this, we won’t know if we’re moving closer or further away from our goal.

How will I know what’s best for me?

During a coaching session we discuss all blocks and restrictions and how they’re affecting your weight. They will then be energetically cleared, and then we will begin our chat about what you can do next in order to achieve your weight loss goal.

This becomes a bit of a brainstorming session where we will come up with another of options. I will test each one for their congruence with who you are as a Soul, and how likely they are to help you to achieve your weight loss goal.

What you may find interesting is that some of the actions we discuss may not even be directly related to weight loss at all! What we are wanting to do is help you shift energetically so that you align more with your desired new weight. So this process helps you to do just that!

More about feedback

You will absolutely receieve feedback in some form or another within the first two weeks of applying your new choices, and the feedback may or may not be related to your weight.

Here’s some of what I advise my clients to look for:

  • Have you lost any weight?
  • Have you lose any centimetres or inches? (this is much more important than weight!)
  • How much energy do you have? More than when you started? Less?
  • How are your stress levels right now?
  • What is your mindset like? Do you feel positive? Negative?
  • How are you sleeping? Better or worse than when you started?
  • Have any other life areas improved over the last two weeks? If so, how?

As a part of your program, you will also receive a free 15 minute followup call. During this call we will track how you have progressed since your original session, and determine your next steps.

I am a certified Nutrition Coach and Wellness Coach too, so these sessions really become a mixture of practical advice and information along with some more energetic aspects. This is so you have the best chance possible to clear what caused you to gain the weight in the first place!

Getting to the root cause

I feel really bad for the people who spend their lives trying every single diet there is, working out until they make themselves sick, then putting the lost weight back on shortly after losing it. They must feel so frustrated!

The problem is, they’re trying to address the symptom (the excess weight) instead of the root cause!

If you don’t address the cause of your excess weight, then it’s going to pile back on, because something underlying is causing it to do so!

In a session we get to the root cause of why you are carrying excess weight. Together we put together an action plan to help you to not only clear the cause energetically, but we agree on practical steps you can take to keep it off forever!
