Fit & Fabulous at 50!

In just under three months I’ll be turning 50, and to celebrate the fact that I’ve made it to half a century without doing too much damage myself, I have decided that, starting today, I will start my own challenge, which I am calling “Fit & Fabulous at 50!”.

Throughout my journey I will take you through my weekly activities, and I will weigh and measure in once a month. I will also share with you what I’m eating and how I felt after eating it – this is more important than you think!

I will also talk about how I’m feeling, such as my energy levels, my motivation and so on. As a nutrition coach, your feelings and your energy levels are important. Some foods affect different people in different ways. For example, if I eat bread, I get sleepy – VERY sleepy! I also feel heavy and bloated afterwards, so I know it’s best for me to avoid eating bread. For you, it might be different, so it’s important to journal your progress as you go, so you will have an understanding of which foods feel good to eat, and which ones feel not so good.

I’m really going to be putting myself out there for this, so I’m kind of terrified, but I am also excited, because I can’t wait to be Fit & Fabulous at 50!!!
