One of my Facebook friends pointed me to a list today which listed the top 10 New Year’s resolutions according to Amazon.
The list was as follows:
- Lose Weight (well duh! We all knew this one would be first!)
- Get finances in order
- Go greener
- Curb vices (smoking, drinking, gambling etc)
- Get in shape (as per number 1!)
- Relax more
- Pursue a new career
- Upgrade your technology
- Organise and optimise (get things in order)
- Start a new hobby
The sad thing about this, is that so many people obviously want to lose weight, but so few succeed because the programs or diets they choose are not manageable, or they are too expensive, or cannot be maintained for long periods of time.
I’ve talked so many times on here about the programs I recommend, and they are both inexpensive, simple, sensible and perfect for the person who is too busy to spend hours at the gym. In fact, you really don’t need a gym. I don’t go to the gym anymore. I have a set of dumbells, a fit ball and room to move and that is all I need.
Visit the Fit Yummy Mummy or Truth About 6 Pack Abs sites for more information on these programs.
