It’s a new year and a new you!

Happy new year! I know that 2020 was a bit of a “weird” year for many of us, and quite devastating for others, and if you’re anything like me, you’ll have a very strong desire to maintain your health as much as possible as we head into 2021.

It’s become all too obvious that a healthy mind and a healthy body are essential if you want to live the best life that you can, and the following tips will get you well on your way to a great year!

  • Become aware of, and change what you allow yourself to focus on – turn off the news, stop reading newspapers, and quickly scroll past any posts you see online about doom and gloom. This negative stuff only creates more fear, and feeling constant fear is the best way to fill your body with energetic and emotional “toxins”, which contributes to additional fat production.
  • Get outside and enjoy life! Get yourself a free dose of vitamin D, get active, and breathe in the fresh air when you can.
  • Become aware of what you are putting into your body. The foods you eat, the household cleaners you use, and the substances you breathe in, are all contributing to your weight, either in a positive way or a negative way.

These three things are making a huge contribution to your health and to your weight, so if you increase your awareness and make a few little tweaks, you will begin the process of creating a healthier, more active, body.
