When I have a client who wishes to lose weight, one of the first suggestions I make is to start “mindful eating”, which is basically just eating slowly!
Eating slowly may be the single most powerful habit for driving major transformation, and you’re unlikely to feel restricted – at all!
Not only can this ridiculously simple strategy help you improve health and body composition, it can also serve as a gateway to other big changes, such as developing a healthier relationship with food, feeling more satisfied after every meal, and of course, your overall health.
A small challenge
Why not set a small challenge for yourself, and let’s see if you can make each meal last a little bit longer than before.
And of course, before you start any new process, do your measurements, measure your energy levels, and take note of where you’re at right now. Then in a couple of weeks, measure again and compare to today. You may be surprised at what you see!
