You’ve probably seen stuff like this before, and this is actually based on a blog post by Holly Rigsby, and I figured that any help is good, so here are some tips to help you lose weight:
- Plan – work out what you’re going to do, and how you’re going to do it!
- Get rid of the scale! If you go by monthly measurements, you will feel a LOT more encouraged to keep going!
- Get the support of friends, family, or even online.
- Keep a journal to record your progress. Be honest with yourself here!
- Be positive! Some days you’re going to feel a little discouraged or you may get off track. That’s ok if you remain positive that you can really do this!
- Be consistent – That goes for both eating AND exercise.
- Only buy supportive food – you want to make this as easy as possible, right?
- Be prepared to learn more – you won’t ever know it all, so be teachable.
- Get inspiration from other people who have succeeded.
- Take things day by day. 12 weeks feels like a long time, but it really isn’t. Give this a go for 12 weeks before you decide if it works.
