Motivation cannot be “controlled” as such. It’s not like you can pursue motivation. If anything, motivation is an outcome.

No matter how small those steps toward your goal are, they’re still steps in the right direction! It will feel good when you take those steps, and it’s the little bits of measurable progress that you make that can be enough to keep you going – to keep you motivated!

What if I fall off the wagon?
If you’re human, it’s possible you will trip up at some point. This happens to the best of us, but you know what? If you fall off the wagon, the best thing to do is to brush yourself off, then get back on that wagon again!
This will feel like a long, slow and difficult journey. So what’s important now is to look back at regular intervals and see how far you have come, and at first there won’t be too much to see, but the longer you stay on that wagon, the more incredible you’re going to feel when you understand how much you have progressed!
Why lose weight in the first place?
Even if you had all of the money in the world, you can’t buy your health. A large percentage of the population is overweight or obese, and they’re suffering from illness, disease, aches and pains as their bodies struggle under their weight, and while surgery for some might seem a good option, that comes with a whole bunch of issues as well!
So if you’re reading this, I am guessing you would love to lose weight and to experience having a healthy, fit and strong body so that you can truly enjoy life! And that’s a wonderful thing, as long as you start doing something to make that happen!
