Exercise tips to help you lose weight

Having a great body is something many of us dream about, but with over 50% of the population either overweight or obese, few of us have looked all that great in a while, if at all!

There is hope though, and the following exercise ideas, which I have taken from the free Fat Loss Report, will help to get you started – exercise doesn’t have to be boring!

1. Change your cardio routine to be variable intensity – no longer are you the hamster in the wheel, going at the same pace for what seems like hours! Speed up, then slow down, then speed up before slowing down again, etc.

2. Try mountain biking, hill sprints, football, basketball, racquetball, tennis, hockey, etc

3. Know that isolating specific muscles to work on is just not going to happen! Aim for an entire body workout.

4. Vary your workouts to make them more interesting (more in the free fat loss report).

5. Try running up the stairs.

6. Work out at home, doing squats, pushups, lunges and abs exercises for 15-30 minutes.

7. Swimming

8. Rock climbing

9. Jump rope – Boxers do it, so why can’t you!

10. Jumping exercises, such as squat jumps, box jumps, lunge jumps etc.
