Weight Loss Programs

Finding the right weight loss program is extremely difficult, especially when we have so many programs, "miracle pills", fads, and other things thrown at us from every angle, so I decided to do my own resarch.

I ended up finding two programs that fit my strict criteria, which included:

  • they must be easy to follow
  • they must be sensible
  • they must be "anti diet", and more like a lifestyle change
  • they must provide exercises that are not too hard or too long
  • they must be inexpensive
  • they must provide support and guidance, long after I have purchased the program, for no additional cost

There are lots more on my "must haves", but the items above are a pretty good idea of what I was looking for and the two programs I found were all that and more.

The Fit Yummy Mummy program is focused mainly on women (mothers in particular) and offers not only the program, but an online community where you can enter challenges, network with other women who want to lose weight, and be inspired by the photos of the ones that have.  This part alone is well worth the low cost!

The Truth About Abs program is mainly focused on men, however women can follow this program too, because it is very similar to the Fit Yummy Mummy program. 

I suppose it depends on your own taste as to which one you would prefer, but they are both definitely worth a look.
