			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Uh oh&#8230; I&#8217;m not doing too good, and it could be all of the indulging I&#8217;ve been doing lately! </p>
<p>Here are my stats:</p>
<p>Weight: 56.4kg/124.1 pounds<br />
Size: 8-10 (Australian sizes)<br />
Hips: 37 inches/94cm<br />
Waist: 30 inches/76cm</p>
<p>So I&#8217;ve gained a kilo (or 2 pounds) and put on an inch.  ARGH!</p>
<p>BUT I have joined the Holiday Hottie Transformation Challenge through <a title="Fit Yummy Mummy" href="http://overweightandunhappy.com/fym.html" target="_blank">Fit Yummy Mummy</a>, and that&#8217;s 21 days of dedicated effort I&#8217;m about to put in!</p>
<p>If I&#8217;m not seeing results after this challenge, I&#8217;ll be VERY surprised.  I have no excuses.  I have received my <a title="Prograde products" href="http://overweightandunhappy.getprograde.com" target="_blank">Prograde</a> products, I just did a clean eating grocery shop and I have my meals planned for the next week!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last night I worked out what I was going to eat today, and because I&#8217;m always so busy and am rushing around in the morning, I decided to get them ready in advance.</p>
<p>I have a lunch to go to tomorrow, so the rest of the day&#8217;s meals had to be sorted:</p>
<p>Breakfast:  Green smoothie &#8211; spinach, banana, almond milk, frozen mixed berries, vanilla protein powder (I&#8217;m still waiting on my <a title="Prograde" href="http://overweightandunhappy.getprograde.com" target="_blank">Prograde</a> to arrive &#8211; they have an orange flavoured powder would you believe??)</p>
<p>Morning tea:  Cruskits with cottage cheese and cherry tomatoes</p>
<p>Lunch:  Going out &#8211; this will be one of my cheat meals for the week</p>
<p>Afternoon tea:  Hard boiled egg and some grapes</p>
<p>Dinner:  I&#8217;m not sure yet.  I was thinking of making up a sauce using minced beef, lots of veggies and herbs and garlic.  My daughter can have it with spaghetti or other pasta and I&#8217;ll have it on its own. </p>
<p>Planning your meals in advance really makes a difference.  You&#8217;re no longer left with any excuses as to why you didn&#8217;t eat healthy &#8211; it&#8217;s all there ready for you! </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I went for a 5km walk with my man tonight, and although I had a sore calf muscle (I think I pulled it while working out earlier in the week &#8211; doing jumping jacks!), I was doing ok &#8211; until we decided to jog that is!</p>
<p>Because my calf muscle was sore, I should not have tried running on it, so I felt a kind of &#8220;pop&#8221; and then a sharp pain in my calf.  Ouch!</p>
<p>I&#8217;m ok though and I&#8217;m sitting on the couch trying to stretch it out before I go to bed.  I am not looking forward to walking on it first thing tomorrow though!  Eeek!</p>
<p>So please listen to your body.  Exercise shouldn&#8217;t &#8220;hurt&#8221;.  Yes you should feel muscle fatigue, but if you&#8217;re feeling actual pain, then stop.  And if you need to, seek medical advice.  Don&#8217;t try to push through it!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I had a great day yesterday!  I needed to mow the lawn (for the second time in my entire life!), so I figured I would use that as my warmup, and afterwards I&#8217;d do a <a title="Fit Yummy Mummy" href="http://overweightandunhappy.com/fym.html" target="_blank">Fit Yummy Mummy</a> workout.</p>
<p>And what a great decision that was!  I finished mowing, completed Workout B from week 1 of the <a title="Fit Yummy Mummy" href="http://overweightandunhappy.com/fym.html" target="_blank">Fit Yummy Mummy</a> fat loss program, and followed that up with intervals (I did jumping jacks &#8211; 30 seconds high intensity, and rotated that with 90 seconds of brisk walking).</p>
<p>And of course after my workout I had a post workout shake to help my body repair and grow muscle. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As you have probably guessed, I follow the <a title="Fit Yummy Mummy" href="http://overweightandunhappy.com/fym.html" target="_blank">Fit Yummy Mummy</a> weight loss program and absolutely love it!</p>
<p>Ok I&#8217;ve not been great at sticking to it, but when I&#8217;m focused, I get great results!</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been a little unhappy with my body lately and really do want to improve my fitness, and I want to strengthen my core muscles and get my fabulous abs back. So I decided to invest in Club <a title="Fit Yummy Mummy" href="http://overweightandunhappy.com/fym.html" target="_blank">FYM</a> which provides a huge members forum, plenty of workout videos and so much more.</p>
<p>So here&#8217;s what I posted in my progress journal on ClubFYM today:</p>
<p>Alright&#8230; I&#8217;m home alone and really have NO excuse not to get back into this, starting with entering my starting point.</p>
<p>I weighed myself this morning and I&#8217;m 55.5kg (122 pounds), which is less than I thought I was, but I do have a bit of a podgy belly and I want it GONE!</p>
<p>As for my other measurements, here they are:</p>
<p>Waist: 29&#8243;/74cm<br />
Hips: 36 1/2&#8243;/93cm<br />
Bust (please don&#8217;t shrink!!): 35&#8243;/89cm</p>
<p>I just found my measurements from May 2008:</p>
<p>Weight: 58kg/127 pounds<br />
Waist: 30&#8243;/76cm<br />
Hips: 38&#8243;/96cm<br />
Bust: 36&#8243;/91cm(they&#8217;ve shrunk dammit!)</p>
<p>So I have maintained my weight despite how slack I&#8217;ve been lately, and am even a little bit smaller than I was. So I think I&#8217;m at a good point now where I am pretty sure I&#8217;ll get great results!</p>
<p>I&#8217;m having a very lazy day today and am yet to hop in the shower. Might work out first, then have a shower.. yeah! I&#8217;ll do that soon because I&#8217;m starting to get hungry and it&#8217;s almost lunch time! Goooo me!</p>

I figured that there was little point trying to do something at lunch time on a regular basis because I usually had so much other stuff to do.  And after work &#8211; forget it!  At the end of my day, all I want to do is RELAX!</p>
<p>Ok, so I started off this morning with strength exercises.  I did squats, pushups, the plank, and several other exercises (there were 6 in total, each one paired up with another for some supersets).</p>
<p>After that I did around 12 minutes of intervals, using the bottom steps in my house!  I did 30 seconds of stepups, then 30 seconds of walking around (and getting my breath back!), over and over again till 12 minutes was up!</p>
<p>After that I walked to the train station (1.5km away &#8211; more than half a mile?), then home again tonight.</p>
<p>And you know what?  I feel fantastic right now, but I know I&#8217;m going to feel pain tomorrow!  <img src='http://overweightandunhappy.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ooooh boy I have been missing in action for way too long, and it&#8217;s time for me to get off my butt and start exercising again!</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t even own any scales right now, so can&#8217;t tell you what I weigh, although what I CAN tell you is that while I know I&#8217;m not overweight, I&#8217;m carrying a LOT more fat than I want to be!</p>
<p>So starting tomorrow, I&#8217;m starting my <a title="Fit Yummy Mummy" href="http://overweightandunhappy.com/fym.html" target="_blank">Fit Yummy Mummy</a> program again!</p>
<p>My alarm is set for 5.45am (so I can hit snooze once before getting up), then it&#8217;s time to put on my exercise gear and get moving!</p>
<p>What I&#8217;ll do is start off with 15 minutes of intervals.  What I&#8217;ve decided to do for this first day is use the stairs in my house.  I will run up and walk down my stairs, using the fabulous music on my iPod for inspiration!  <img src='http://overweightandunhappy.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>After that I will do strength training exercises &#8211; three supersets!  So that&#8217;s 6 types of exercises including squats, pushups and the killer plank! </p>
<p>Now ideally I&#8217;d have a protein shake straight after this workout followed by a shower then breakfast, but I don&#8217;t have any protein powder right now.  So instead I&#8217;ll just have a glass of milk for now. I suppose some protein is better then none, right?  <img src='http://overweightandunhappy.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
